Johan Elvnert has been Managing Director of the Forest-based Sector Technology Platform (FTP) since 2011. His role is to coordinate the European research and innovation efforts in the forest-based sector as expressed by the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda. Elvnert is also a member of the Nordic Bioeconomy Panel. Previously, Johan Elvnert has worked at the European Commission DG Research & Innovation and he has a Master of Science in Molecular Biotechnology Engineering from Uppsala University.

Marco Falzetti, MSc.
in Aeronautical Engineering, Director at Agency for the Promotion of European Research, started his professional research activity focusing on the application of Artificial Intelligence techniques in process modelling and control problems. Mr.Falzetti has launched the Alliance for Materials initiative-A4M and chairs its Management Board and acts also as Chairman at EuMaT. He is member of many advisory boards and steering committees of different EU projects and initiatives as well as of the EC Advisory Group for NMBP of H2020 programme.

Rudolf Fryček, Ph.D., is the CEO of AMIRES, a private company focused on EU projects, Technology Scouting and Business Innovation. Mr. Fryček has more than 12 years of experience in the European project management and consultancy, particularly for SMEs. He is an accredited coach of the Swiss Innovation Platform – PLATINN. In the past, he was Seconded National Expert to the European Commission, DG Industrial Technologies as well as Scientific Coordinator of EuroNanoForum 2009 and an advisor of several European Conferences in the field of Industrial Technologies.

Costas Galiotis, Professor of Dept. of Chemical Engineering at the Univ. of Patras. Former Director of FORTH/ ICE-HT. He is the National Representative in the NMBP Committee and member of the Executive Council of Graphene Flagship. Gerben Klein Lebbink works in the Netherlands Ministry of Economic Affairs as Account Manager, responsible for innovation policy and public private partnerships in the High Tech sector. Within the Ministry he is also responsible for the associated presidency event in June 2016 called “Industrial Technologies 2016 – creating a smart Europe”. Mr. Lebbink has over 15 years experience in the European Framework Programmes. He is currently chairing the States Representatives Group of the Clean Sky Joint Technology Initiative.

Professor of Metallurgy at Udine University (Italy) for thirty years, author of some 250 scientific papers and 15 international patents mainly in powder technology and nanophased materials. Sean O'Reagain is Deputy Head of Unit, "Advanced Manufacturing Systems and Biotechnologies" at the DG RTD. In this capacity he implements policy and actions under the H2020 Framework Programme and oversees the contractual PPPs on Factories of the Future, Energy-Efficient Buildings and the Sustainable Process Industry. Mr. O'Reagain was previously responsible for the Joint Technology Initiatives with industry and the European Technology Platforms. Prior to that, he managed the benchmarking for competitiveness and innovation programme in the Commission's DG Enterprise.

Andrea Pontremoli, CEO and General Manager at Dallara Automobili, Lead Independent Director at Brunello Cucinelli, member of the Barilla Board of Directors and Director of the “Executive Master in Technology and Innovation Management” at the University of Bologna, has started his career in IBM in 1980 gradually working his way up to become President and CEO for IBM Italy in 2004. Ing. Peter Švec, DrSc., senior researcher, head of Department of Metal Physics of the Institute of Physics, Slovak Academy of Sciences. His main research areas include i.a. properties, structure and local atomic arrangements in amorphous and nanocrystalline rapidly quenched materials, nucleation and growth processes in clustered complex metallic alloys. Mr. Švec has taken part in numerous research projects and cooperation on national as well as on international level. Mr. Švec is member of the Slovak Learned Society and holds the SAS Award for International Scientific Cooperation.

Luisa Tondelli
is the Head of Unit for Research Internationalization at the Department of Chemical Sciences and Materials Technology of the National Research Council of Italy (CNR). She is an Italian National Expert in the HORIZON 2020 – NMBP Programme Committee (European Commission) and the Vice President of Expert Group for Industrial Research, Innovation and Technological Transfer of Emilia-Romagna Region. She is a Senior Researcher in Materials Science at CNR since 1986 (PhD Biochemistry, MSc Industrial Chemistry).

René van Sloten read socio-economic history at the University of Groningen, followed by post-graduate studies in international relations at the Institute for International Relations Clingendael in The Hague and in European public administration at the College of Europe in Bruges. He joined the European Chemical Industry Council (Cefic) in 1990 and in 1995 became the Head of Trade Policy. He is presently Executive Director Industrial Policy and as such dealing with competitiveness and industrial policy related topics, trade and business impact of new chemicals policy.

After finishing his studies of New Technical Materials at Technical University of Ostrava, Czech Republic, Mr. Zachurczok started his career as Energy Metallurgical Engineer at Energetika Trinec, followed by the position of Head of Strategy Department at Trinecké železárny. In 2007 he became the CEO at VÚHZ, company focusing on special profiles, development of electromagnetic sensors for steel casting, coating of thin layers and foundry of centrifugal casting.
